Builder | Royal Huisman
Year of construction | 2009
Draft | 16ft (4.9m)

Although sailing yachts are, by definition, more eco-friendly than their motor counterparts, Ethereal was conceived to be the ultimate in green design.
Her groundbreaking technology creates minimal impact on the water she passes through and electric power not only adds to her credentials but also makes the whole cruising process much quieter. Eco credentials aside, in a fair wind there is no greater feeling than to hoist Ethereal’s gargantuan sails and admire her pace. On deck, there are ample relaxation areas in which to sunbathe or entertain, including a Bedouin tent that can be hoisted on the foredeck to accommodate a massage area, gym or merely somewhere to relax in the shade. The deckhouse includes a large dining and entertainment area equipped with a bar; perfect for enjoying alfresco dining while protected from the elements. The interior is stocked full with technology such as the photochromic windows that darken automatically to block UV radiation, a television linked to an underwater camera on the yacht’s keel, and a cinema area with adjoining music room. The dining table seats 10 and converts to a games table, and there is a separate library, five en-suite guest rooms and a further private office that can also be prepared as an additional double stateroom, all luxuriously furnished by the famed Royal Huisman craftsmanship. Leisure and recreation: 2 x tenders, 2 x Zuma sailing dinghies, sea kayaks, windsurfing gear, snorkeling equipment, waterskis, wakeboards and other towables.

Dark Shadow is a 100 foot (30 meter) sloop designed according to Wally Yacht’s iconic principles of modern design.
Her black hull, towering black mast and dark sails give her a truly iconic profile. The interior is equally exotic with its neat black and white color scheme of black carbon fiber surfaces and white cabinetry. The owner’s cabin is forward and the two twin cabins are aft of the main saloon. All have en-suite bathrooms in which even the shower and tub are carbon fiber. What is particularly impressive about Dark Shadow is that, despite her vast rig and sail area, she can be sailed single-handedly thanks to modern sailing technology and a clever deck design. The main cockpit and sunbathing area over the deckhouse are separated from the helm and winches, allowing guests to enjoy the pleasure of sailing without being hindered by ropes or crew.
