New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
Prestigious watchmaker Breguet has opened its third U.S. boutique on New York’s posh Fifth Avenue, joining a second New York outpost on Madison Avenue and a flagship on Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive. The 3,500-square-foot space features a special exhibition that allows visitors to take a virtual tour of the company’s manufacture in Switzerland, in addition to a pulsograph that displays a minute repeater’s chimes and ticking. An onsite Breguet watchmaker will also be available.
Coinciding with the store’s opening, the company will auction off a Breguet Classique 5157 timepiece, with all proceeds going toward the New York Philharmonic’s School Partnership Program. The 18K yellow gold wristwatch will be displayed in the new boutique through January 15th, 2011. Bidding starts online at eBay’s Giving Works site on December 30th and will continue until midnight on January 15th. Visit www.nyphil.org/auction for more information on the sale.
