The close of 2011 will see a new Conrad hotel in New York that will be the luxury hotel brand’s fifth property in the United States. Located in the Financial District, the 463-room accommodation will feature spacious guestrooms that average 450-square-feet and come with high-tech electronics and other lavish amenities. Additional aspects will include a sunlit 15-story atrium, striking Sol LeWitt artwork, a green roof plus a rooftop bar boasting dramatic views of the Hudson River. Restaurateur extraordinaire Danny Meyer will introduce three dining spots, including Blue Smoke, Shake Shack and North End Grill. Guests will also be able to utilize over 21,000 feet of adaptable meeting space that will include a 5,800 square-foot grand Gallery Ballroom.
