From the designer that brought the world ‘Seven Easy Pieces’ and the luxury of black cashmere comes the latest installment of essentials. Donna Karan has created the two must haves for every traveler: the black cashmere eye mask and matching slippers.
Karan’s familiarity with traveling prompted her to address the comforts of her fellow globetrotters by creating the ultimate relaxation companions. To complete this experience, Karan has partnered with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
Beginning in April 2008, the guests of the hotel’s top suites in both New York and London will be presented with a complimentary black cashmere eye mask on arrival in their suite. Guests are then invited to visit the Donna Karan Collection store during their stay, to pick out matching slippers in their size to complete the set.
As Karan annotates, “At the pace we move, you never know when you’ll get a moment to close your eyes and prop up your feet.”
For those who aren’t planning to traverse the pond anytime soon, the slippers will be available in the Donna Karan Collection stores in time for Fall 08!
