In April 2014, the Musical Olympus Foundation hosted its eighth annual Musical Olympus Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Carnegie Hall, renowned internationally as a premier concert venue, received young musicians from four countries in a festival performance showcasing their talent: Marc Bouchkov (France, violin), Rémi Geniet (France, piano), Igor Eliseev (Russia, double bass), Nathalie Mittelbach (Switzerland, mezzo-soprano), and Vassilena Serafimova (Bulgaria, percussion).
The musicians performed works by Bottesini, Bruch, Haydn, Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Bizet, Puccini, Verdi, Prokofiev, and Xenakis.
The ‘Audience Favourite Award’ went to Igor Eliseev for his incredible talent on the double bass.
