RONKONKOMA, NY – ExcelAire, one of the nation’s leading private jet charter firms, today announced its expansion into an additional 110,000-square foot facility at MacArthur airport, creating the largest private jet facility in Long Island.
With the new space at Long Island’s MacArthur Airport ExcelAire has expanded the scope of its operations in aviation maintenance, aircraft management and private jet charter services. The new facility offers a full range of services for passengers, crews and owners, including the sale of aviation fuel.
Along with the new facility, ExcelAire continues to maintain its two existing hangars and offices at MacArthur airport.
“We are growing at a rapid pace and the 110,000 square feet (former Garrett Aviation facility) ideally meets our needs for more space at MacArthur Airport , which is conveniently located between New York City and the Hamptons ,” said Bob Sherry, President of ExcelAire.
“Importantly, the new facility gives us the ability to manage additional airplanes, and provide additional services for our private jet and maintenance customers.”
Mr. Sherry added, “At the new MacArthur airport facility, ExcelAire is committed to providing fuel and line service to all aircraft, and has made a significant investment in new fuel truck, tugs, service carts and trained technicians.
In addition, our maintenance services, with a reputation for safety and high standards, are now also available to the generation aviation public through our subsidiary, Eastway Aircraft.”
ExcelAire’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Eastway Aircraft Services, is a FAA-approved Repair Station that maintains the entire ExcelAire fleet and provides retail maintenance services to a variety of other customers.
The Eastway Aircraft Services team is experienced and trained on maintenance of Gulfstream II through V, Global Express, Hawker, Learjet and Embraer Legacy.
