Geneva, Switzerland – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
One of the world’s most celebrated jewelers, Fabergé, has unveiled new retail outlets in London and New York.
Located in prestigious Mayfair, the house’s new London boutique marks its first standalone shop in the city in almost a century (the last Fabergé boutique closed in 1915, following the repatriation of Russian resources at the beginning of WWI). The shop’s stunning façade references Fabergé’s renowned guilloché and enamel techniques, while the interiors manage to feel warm and inviting, yet modern. Fabergé will also expand its reach at Harrods in Knightsbridge, offering both jewelry and watch collections at the world-famous department store.
Next up for the house is a new flagship on New York’s Madison Avenue, set to officially open next spring. Before the grand opening, Faberge will offer special previews by appointment only, from November 28th through December 30th.
“We are thrilled to open the doors to the first Fabergé boutique in London since 1915. This is an important moment for us and for Fabergé to continue Peter Carl Fabergé’s legacy of exquisite creations and outstanding craftsmanship,” said the house’s managing and creative director, Katharina Flohr. “Fabergé continues to attract a customer base of discerning devotees, seeking special personal possessions and gifts which illuminate the captivating world of Fabergé, linking past, present and future.”
