Monique Lhuillier is opening a New York Flagship Salon; the intimate boutique is located in a lavish townhouse from the 1890’s at 19 East 71st Street and Madison Avenue. The boutique spans over 3,000 square feet and is made up of two floors. Monique Lhuillier’s entire ready-to-wear, bridal and accessory collections are housed within charming rooms and chic nooks that reflect the beauty and history of the townhouse.
The first floor of the boutique is solely dedicated to a grand display of the entire Monique Lhuillier ready-to-wear bridal collection and the accessories collection, making it easy for guests to browse and shop the entire collection. While on the second floor an elegant and intimate bridal salon has been created. Guests will feel as though they are in their own beautiful home, with six plush fitting suites that create a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere.
Interior Designer Jennie Abbott kept the original style of the marvelous home intact and creates an open interior staircase, framed by 22-foot walls. Guests will find a chic and sophisticated environment created by historical architecture, luxurious fabrics, furnishing and art.
Keeping a chic and personal the space is enveloped by richly appointed grey suede walls and jewel-box vitrines and is highlighted by Monique Lhuillier Waterford chandeliers. Crafted in Ireland, each fixture features tiers of multi-faceted crystal baguettes, mimicking the layers of fabric and delicate beadwork of Monique’s signature gowns.
