Visit London Treats New Yorkers to Afternoon Tea

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine

Visit London, the official visitor organization for Britain’s beloved capital city, brought the tradition of afternoon tea stateside today.

Hosted at New York’s Time Warner Center from 9am to 5pm, members of the public were invited to join Visit London for complimentary tea and biscuits—and to start planning their next trip across the pond. The event is part of the organization’s “Only in London” campaign, now in its second year, which celebrates the unique experiences that only London can offer.

Perfect for spring, the vibrant, interactive space was filled with delicate floral arrangements that promised to add a bit of London panache to every guest’s day. In addition, travelers and shoppers who stopped by for a spot of tea were entered to win a trip to London—and a chance to experience the real thing for themselves.
