Key selling points: Occupying the entire 23rd floor of the hotel, this colossal three-bedroom suite has its own private elevator, and is decked with European and Argentine antiques.

Much of the furniture was bought in the city’s antiques district, while other pieces were specially made by local craftsmen.

Standout service: For a proposal, staff had a horse-drawn carriage take the couple to a beautiful rose garden, and a butler welcome them back with a large bouquet of roses.

Style: Louis XV-inspired, by Daniel Piana, 2008

Special amenities: L’Occitane bath amenities, Jacuzzi, fresh fruit and flowers daily, 42-inch LCD TV with DVD player, iHome audio system, petit fours at turndown
