British Virgin Islands resort Rosewood Little Dix Bay has added a new level of luxe to its accommodation offering with the recent launch of Villa Katsura, an all-new private residence.
Spanning 23,500 sq ft with five bedrooms and ten-and-a-half bathrooms across three interconnecting pavilions, the gargantuan villa asks for a cool $19,000 per night, with a five-night minimum.
Designed to replicate the original owners’ primary residence in Okinawa, Japan, the interiors are inspired by traditional Japanese architecture and feature exposed timber, natural materials, a serene neutral color palette and discrete sliding doors, as well as an intentional indoor-outdoor layout.

And, thanks to its prime position atop a sea-facing cliff, the villa commands impressive views over the Sir Francis Drake Channel. A private pathway also offers direct access to the pristine sandy coves below.
In-villa amenities are plentiful, too, and include a full kitchen, several dining and lounge areas, a pool terrace with heated rock garden-style swimming pool, a steam shower room, a wraparound outdoor terrace and an enveloping freestanding wooden bathtub.

Villa Katsura can accommodate up to 12 guests, who are privy to a host of extra Rosewood Little Dix Bay services, including a dedicated team with two butlers, semi-private beach access, a private boat charter around the BVI beaches, an in-villa dining experience, daily breakfast and spa treatments. The resort’s team works closely with each group to create a personalized itinerary, individually tailored to guests’ likes and dislikes.
On the wider resort, guests can also make use of extensive facilities, such as tennis courts, two swimming pools, a pickleball court and several signature bars and restaurants.
Villa Katsura launches in tandem with Rosewood Little Dix Bay’s 60th-anniversary celebrations, which sees a number of resort-wide activations and experiences taking place to celebrate sixty years of the resort’s exclusive brand of barefoot luxury.
