Glamorous yet intentionally unpretentious, The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale marks the point where the city meets the beach. Its aquatic-inspired interiors and proximity to the waves make this historic resort a haven for ocean lovers. To celebrate its partnership with Elite Traveler’s World’s Finest Suites, we spoke to the resort’s general manager, Jose Torres.

During my onboarding process, I was truly impressed with the ethos of the brand’s Gold Standard practices, which recognize the equal treatment of both guests and staff and the goal to foster a culture of mutual respect and excellence. No matter their position ranking, every team member is devoted to serving guests with professionalism, respect, and meticulous attention to detail.
