Word on the waves is Regent Seven Seas Cruises is introducing some new additions to its line of the ‘World’s Most Luxurious Fleet’. The ultra-luxurious cruise line has announced a new class of vessels and unveiled the first images of its new ship, Seven Seas Prestige.
Seven Seas Prestige will be the first of two Prestige-Class ships, with the first expected to be delivered in 2026 while the second, which is currently unnamed, will be launched in 2029. Prestige-Class is Regent’s first new ship class in 10 years, following its Explorer-Class vessels that launched in 2016, 2020 and 2023.
While Regent Seven Seas Cruises is keeping the details of the new ships under wraps for now, we do know the new ship class will introduce additional accommodation categories, including a redesigned Regent Suite, and new dining experiences, each of which are set to be revealed at a later date.

However, the new images of the Seven Seas Prestige provide a glimpse of the new level of luxury that Regent cruisers can expect. At 77,000 tonnes and hosting up to only 850 guests, Seven Seas Prestige is also set to boast one of the highest passenger-to-space ratios in the cruise industry. The announcement also mentioned on board there are set to be new “lavish, thoughtfully designed” restaurants, bars and lounges – keeping true to Regent’s word that it offers more ‘unrivaled space at sea.’

DeMarco continues: “Unrivaled Space at Sea is a key pillar for Regent and a primary desire for luxury travelers. Seven Seas Prestige was designed with this in mind, maintaining the intimate and luxurious service our guests love, while also providing even more space throughout the ship, allowing for new suite categories and new experiences.”
