Blagnac, France – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), the specialist in ACJ VIP cabin completion and associated services, delivered and installed in less than 8 hours a VIP Conversion Kit in an Airbus A320 for an undisclosed customer, giving the aircraft a dual-role capability: VIP or commercial transport.
This VIP Conversion Kit allows conversion of the forward A320 passenger area into a spacious VIP section, giving customers the opportunity to have a multi-mission aircraft.
The elegant Kit includes two double-VIP seats and two Club-Four VIP seats, with Hi/Lo tables. To complement this VIP configuration and bring a warmer ambiance and greater privacy, the forward area also features partitions, high quality leather upholstery, woollen carpets and elegant curtains.
This VIP Conversion Kit, designed by ACJC, can be installed very easily within 8 hours. The configuration of the aircraft can be performed by any EASA Part 145 organisation or Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) certificated by its local authority. ACJC’s Field Support Team can provide customers with all the tools and the support equipment required to perform such a change in the shortest possible time. ACJC can also provide training for the first configuration change.
This amazing flexibility has won praise from the customer. “ACJC’s team has worked with professionalism and diligence to make the aircraft ready within the required time and up to the expected high standard” it said.
ACJC is now installing provisions for subsequent installation of the kit for the same customer on a second A320 aircraft. “ACJC is now capitalizing on its experience and know-how with this VIP Conversion Kit solution, which is the quickest to install in the current VIP market” says Bruno Galzin, Airbus Corporate Jet Centre Head of Sales and Marketing.
Dedicated to providing quality cabin-outfitting and associated services for Airbus ACJ Family aircraft, the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre is backed by the full resources of its shareholder, Airbus, the world’s largest manufacturer of modern airliners.
Based in Toulouse, France, ACJC has already contracted with prestigious customers in Asia, Europe and Middle East. It attributes its success to a strong technical background, plus 200 highly skilled employees that have now completed more than 15 VIP cabins for Airbus aircraft.
