Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), the specialist in ACJ VIP cabin completion and associated services, expands its range of products by developing a VIP kit that will be installed in an Airbus A320 for a Middle East customer, giving the aircraft a dual-role capability to transport either VIPs or passengers.
“This kit allows conversion of the forward A320 passenger area into a VIP section, giving the customer the flexibility to make even wider use of its aircraft” says Benoit Defforge, Airbus Corporate Jet Centre CEO.
The kit includes two double-VIP seats and two Club-Four VIP seats, with Hi/Lo tables. To complement this VIP configuration and bring a warmer ambiance and greater privacy, the forward area also features high quality leather upholstery, woollen carpets and elegant curtains.
ACJC will deliver the VIP kit in the second quarter of 2010, and will also install provisions for subsequent installation of the kit later that year in a second A320.
ACJC has also recently launched a new package of customized services called “VIP Pass”. This package is a real innovation because it is specifically developed for executive, private and government operators of Airbus Corporate Jet aircraft.
This VIP Pass can include cabin upgrades and refurbishment, airframe maintenance, cabin and airframe spares, as well as full engine support. It can also offer ACJC’s customers an Airworthiness and Maintenance Engineering service that bundles together the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre’s technical expertise with the Airbus ACJ Family and the availability of the highest standard of a Maintenance Information System.
The VIP Pass is available for all Airbus corporate jets, including the ACJ Family, A330 and A340. The dedicated ACJC Customer Support & Services team headed by Fabio Beretta is currently fine-tuning this package with ACJ operators for entry into service in 2010.
Dedicated to providing quality cabin-outfitting and associated services for Airbus ACJ Family aircraft, the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre is backed by the full resources of both its shareholders: Airbus, the world’s largest manufacturer of modern airliners, and Comlux, the international expert in VIP aircraft operations and cabin design.
Based in Toulouse, France, ACJC has now booked a total of ten contracts for cabin-outfitting, from customers in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, the latest of which calls for a delivery in 2011. It attributes its success to a strong technical background, plus a highly skilled workforce that has now completed more than 15 VIP cabins for Airbus aircraft.
