Audemars Piguet, the last fine watch manufacturer still in the hands of its founding family, recently hosted its Ambassadors’ Cup golf tournament at Liberty National Golf Club, located on the Hudson River. A roster of pro-golfers and devotees of Haute Horlogerie hit the green for the annual tournament and “tee’d-off” in style.
The Audemars Piguet Ambassador Team represents the company’s commitment to golf by gathering an array of exceptional players for the brand. The company’s roster of Ambassadors including Rory McIlroy, Ian Poulter, Graeme McDowell, and Lee Westwood participated in the event, which included 34 clients. The roster also included pro-golfers Cristie Kerr, Morgan Pressel, Belen Mozo, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Darren Clarke and Athony Kim. Participants battled on the green for first and second place prizes, which consisted of a Audemars Piguet wall clock, trophies and golf bags.
The participants of the annual tournament proudly sport the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore watches on and off the course. The pieces embody a combination of elegance, excellence and strength, which Audemars Piguet appreciates in its sports ambassadors.
