Avantair, Inc. (OTCBB: AAIR), the only publicly traded standalone private aircraft operator and the industry leader of fractional aircraft ownership and jet cards in the light jet cabin category, is pleased to host the Aircraft and Aerospace exhibit portion of the New Jersey Engineering and Science Festival at its facility located at the Essex County Airport in Caldwell, New Jersey.
The two day long festival, is to be held on October 23rd and 24th, is the country’s first Aviation Science, Technology and Engineering event. Open to the public, this free event was developed to provide a motivating and educational environment through lectures, displays and entertainment highlighting the importance science and technology. Serving as a satellite event in conjunction with the USA Festival in Washington D.C., the New Jersey event is intended to create awareness for the importance of aviation and all the associated professions and industries.
The Avantair-sponsored Aircraft and Aerospace portion of the event will feature civil, military, experimental and vintage aircraft on display, as well as exhibits from associated aerospace and aviation related technology. Among the exhibitors are Hawker Beechcraft, Air Fleet Flight Training and EAA Chapter 73. Anticipated to attend are notable pilots, celebrities, and a NASA Astronaut. Transportation to and from the airport will be provided for all attendees from the main science exhibits held at nearby Clifton High School as well as local train and bus stations.
