Banyan Tree is set to expand into Northern China with the opening of its 10th property in the country, Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside, which combines metropolitan living with lavish resort amenities and experiences.
Blending local history and culture into its interior design, Tianjin Riverside’s 159 stylish rooms draw on the muted tones and refined aesthetic of traditional Chinese ink paintings. Each room is designed specifically to promote relaxation by creating a serene space with elaborate furnishing and finishes, such as the “Relaxation Tub.”
Tianjin Riverside is the first hotel in the group to present the Banyan Tree Spa in Northern China. The renowned spa includes rain mist facilities, a facial room, a beauty salon with foot massage rooms and a relaxation area within the 1,000-square-foot space. The spa also features wellness facilities including a gymnasium, hot and warm dip pools and a 25 meter swimming pool.
The hotel boasts five food and beverage venues with a wide range of services. The Grill features the fine dining and wine, while the River Café offers all-day dining with fresh ingredients and theme nights. Bai Yun serves authentic Catonese and innovative Tiajin-influenced dishes by a Cantonese master chef. Those looking for a more relaxed dining experience will enjoy Jin Bar, replete with evening entertainment, or the Lobby Lounge, providing guests with a number of dining and drinking options to choose from.
Located less than 30 minutes from the city’s railway stations and airports, Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside even offers a limousine pick-up service for guests.
