Swiss watchmakers Bell & Ross launched their first online store in the U.S. last week. The site allows customers, many of whom had requested the brand start an Internet outpost, to buy the company’s horological masterpieces any time and from anywhere they desire. The venture also makes the pieces available in areas not covered by the retail network.
Stacie Orloff, President of Bell & Ross, The Americas, believes this new addition to Bell & Ross’ worldwide e-commerce network will benefit both the brand and its U.S. retailers. “Our U.S. team has seen the success of the European e-Boutique model, and we are excited by the prospect of an online store that will strengthen our brand profile and increase Bell & Ross’ presence in the U.S. market,” Orloff said in a statement. A European e-boutique for Bell & Ross was successfully launched in December 2009.
