Bermuda – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
The widely acclaimed Tucker’s Point Golf Club is pleased to announce guaranteed tee times at the historic Mid Ocean Club for its members, as well as guests of the newly opened Tucker’s Point Hotel & Spa. Tucker’s Point Golf Club was redesigned in 2002 on the 200 coveted, oceanfront acres that make up Tucker’s Point, Bermuda’s most inviting new resort and residential community. The courses, which are both located in the tiny enclave of Tucker’s Town, are widely regarded as the island’s premier courses.
Mid Ocean Club, adjacent to Tucker’s Point (the two courses meet at several points over the 18 holes) is the historic 1921 masterpiece of designer Charles Blair MacDonald and is a championship, 6,520-yard, par-71 course. It, too, was home to the 2007 and 2008 PGA Grand Slams. Tucker’s Point Golf Club, originally designed in 1932 by Charles H. Banks and redesigned in 2002 by Roger Rulewich, the former chief designer for Robert Trent Jones, is a championship, 6,361-yard, par-70 course. The courses share historic designs with modern updates that are true to the original model, superb conditioning, undulating terrain and fantastic views of Tucker’s Town and the sparkling waters that surround them. Their proximity makes it easy to enjoy both courses, and that unique opportunity is available exclusively to guests of Tucker’s Point.
Tee times at Tucker’s Point, with its world-class amenities and facilities, can be made daily and up to six months in advance for hotel guests. Mid Ocean offers Tucker’s Point guests tee times on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The warm and knowledgeable staff of golf professionals at Tucker’s Point seamlessly manages the experience from booking tee times, to providing transfers to and from Mid Ocean Club.
