Beverly Hills, California – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine – Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey took his brand across borders to host a British afternoon tea party on July 15th, celebrating the launch of the newest addition to the Burberry family, Burberry Beauty.
Burberry Beauty features Burberry Skin, Burberry Glow, Burberry Lips and Burberry Eyes. The collection takes inspiration from the classic Burberry trench coat, capturing its timelessness with functionality and innovation.
The event took place in Tom Cruise’s former home, within a Brit-inspired private garden. Among the more than 70 guests were celebrity appearances from May Anderson, Aaron Paul, Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell, Serena Williams, Rachel Zoe and Jayma Mays.
In addition to making its debut in the U.S., Burberry Beauty has launched an ad campaign featuring British models Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Nina Porter and Lily Donaldson. The models were chosen to showcase the tradition of Burberry, to be “completely iconic,” said Bailey. He went on to describe that they chose Rosie, Nina, and Lily because they are “part of the Burberry family—Rosie has this effortless sexiness to her, Nina has an edge and attitude, and Lily is a classic British beauty. When you put them all together, you have a pure Burberry expression.”
