New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
The British Virgin Islands Tourist Board recently opened a new BVI VIP Club Lounge at Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport, another tangible benefit for BVI VIP Club members. Launched in 2009, the BVI VIP Club was designed to reward repeat visitors to the BVI.
“Our tourism community’s world-class hospitality is among our greatest strengths as a destination, so we have incorporated that into our BVI VIP Club Airport Lounge for our repeat visitors,” said Ms. Hadassah Ward, Acting Director of the BVI Tourist Board.
BVI stakeholders have long prided themselves on the fact that visitors to their resorts often become like family, coming back year after year and creating longstanding relationships with villa and resort owners. The BVI VIP Club Airport Lounge is a way that the Tourist Board can extend that sense to club members as they arrive in and depart from the destination.
Background on the BVI VIP Club
The BVI VIP Club is a three-tiered program offering memberships at basic, silver, and gold levels, each providing a corresponding set of benefits. The program rewards repeat visitors with: a membership card, an introductory booklet, a newsletter subscription, and numerous exclusive discounts from participating tourism partners and retailers throughout the BVIs. Interested members can register online through the BVI website. Additionally, applications will be accepted at consumer shows where the BVI VIP Club is prominently displayed. The BVI VIP Club is managed by Ms. Kimberly Hodge, Business Development Specialist for the BVI Tourist Board.
