This timepiece boasts a perpetual calendar that can make changeovers by itself and even takes leap years into account. Referred to as the “grand complication” due to its complexity, the perpetual calendar on this chronometer will require no physical correction until 2100, a great ease for the generations it is passed down to.
Additionally, the Manero ChronoPerpetual design is a generous incorporation of functions of convenience. Recessed into the calendar displays are counters for the hours, minutes and seconds that have been integrated in beautifully demarcated displays. A sublime engagement of light and colors is on display with a matte silver dial center, brushed chronograph counters and minute division rings, and a silver moon disk atop a jet-black setting indicating the phases of the moon.
