New York, NY – The French designer Catherine Malandrino opened a new boutique in the Dubai Mall. The spectacular 36 foot high citrus yellow gradated glass and stainless steel façade embodies the essence of the Catherine Malandrino brand welcoming visitors into the 1400 square foot space.
Continuing in the tradition of Catherine Malandrino boutiques, this newest addition is designed in collaboration with French architect Christophe Pillet. The color palette of the boutique reflects Catherine Malandrino’s aesthetic with shades of warm citrus yellow. Iconic pieces frame the space: a dramatic “Summer Rain” chandelier, consisting of 953 Murano hand-blown glass drops suspended by metal chains, and a patchwork screen of amber glass to endlessly capture the light of Dubai.
The Catherine Malandrino boutique will feature the designer’s two collections, the Malandrino designer collection and accessories (bags, shoes and jewelry), and the Catherine Malandrino contemporary line. Unique lifestyle items chosen by Catherine will be presented and sold in the space as well. Special designs will be created for Dubai to respond to the unique demand of the clientele.
