Château Hotel De La Messardiere Opens New Riviera Season

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

The Chateau de la Messardiere in St. Tropez, reopened for the season and is quickly establishing itself as the hotel of wellbeing and luxury in Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur.

Perched on a hilltop amid 25 acres of pine forests and gardens, the hotel offers magnificent views over the Bay of St. Tropez, the vineyards of Ramatuelle and the renowned Pampelonne beaches. The hotel has been a favorite of celebrities and international jetsetters since opening in 1993 after the restoration of this elegant 19th century chateau.

General Manager Gerald Hardy and his team remain committed to ensuring every stay at the Chateau is truly exception. So once again this year, everything has been done to offer new and exciting amenities to entice both new and returning guests.

Nestled at the heart of the hotel and bathed in natural light, the new 4,850 square foot Château Spa is a sensual world entirely dedicated to pampering and wellbeing. This temple of beauty offers a majestic decor of mosaics, carved stone vaults and columns, parquet flooring, stained-glass windows, precious fabrics, wrought iron railings and a terrace opening onto a fragrant Italian-style garden. Every detail has been cleverly designed to instill the Spa with the refined grandeur so specific to the Château and so loved by returning guests. The Château Spa fitness and beauty experts will cater to your every need and nurture you back to top form.

Château de la Messardière’s vast heated pool now boasts a restyled poolside and beautiful artwork inside the pool itself, created by talented mosaic tile workers whose work already adorns the Château and Spa. The rooms situated inside the 2 towers near the pool now feature chic Moorish and resolutely modern decors, with flagstones and enameled lava bathrooms. This subtle and eminently tasteful blend of styles is what gives the Château its very special personality.

The new 3 or 6-night packages are an invitation to enjoy the charms of every season in St. Tropez. For example, this year’s spring Spa package including 6 nights in a superior double room, 6 Fitness breakfasts, a half-hour daily massage and daily beauty treatment.
