Cornwall Terrace Hosts Frieze Art Fair Exhibition

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

London, England – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine

Following on from the success of last year’s ‘The House of the Nobleman’ art exhibition, curator Victoria Golembiovskaya and Oakmayne Bespoke presented the second installment in the series ‘The Return’ which opened 14-23rd October. The event, which showcased work from Monet, Zaha Hadid, Francis Bacon and Salvador Dali to name a few, was a roaring success with over 1,800 guests attending during the two VIP evenings on 12th and 13th October.

Set within Boswall House, a magnificent 15,000sqft Grade I listed Regency mansion at House No.2 Cornwall Terrace, people enjoyed the combination of luxury art and property overlooking The Regent’s Park and the nearby activity of Frieze Art Fair.

One of the largest and most significant privately sponsored commercial art exhibitions held during the Frieze Art Fair, ‘The Return’ explores ideas of the sacred in art, design and contemporary thought, exhibiting rare and previously unseen works from the most prestigious international collections alongside today’s most notable artists and designers.

The juxtaposition of works spanning different historical periods and mediums explores religious narratives of revival, rebirth and return as well as related topics of landscape, travel and time. Each of the exhibition rooms is dedicated to a varying topic where visitors can have an intimate viewing experience with a range of works across the mediums of painting, photography, mixed media, video, sculpture and design.

This is the second year that the House of the Nobleman art exhibition has collaborated with leading luxury developer Oakmayne Bespoke. Cornwall Terrace, Oakmayne Bespoke’s world renowned scheme of just eight luxurious mansions, has adopted a highly adroit strategy of linking Cornwall Terrace with leading luxury brands from the worlds of art, fashion and lifestyle, thereby assisting with the promotion of the scheme to high-net-worth-individuals around the world. The strategy has proved highly successful, with the scheme now 50% sold.

“The Return exhibition is highly distinctive, privately sponsored and combines world renowned artwork with a member’s club ambience,” said Victoria Golembiovskaya, curator and Nobleman founding director. “Old masters, works by leading contemporary artists and bespoke pieces specially commissioned for The Return have been combined around themes exploring the sacred in art. It also showcases previously unseen pieces exhibited publically for the first time.”

Prices for the residences at Cornwall Terrace start from £29 million.
