Searching for the perfect cocktail? The Dorchester Collection has you covered at the bar and beyond with a new Signature Cocktail and Mocktail menu available in each of Dorchester Collection’s seven hotels. Now available, the signature cocktails and mocktails are the brainchildren of the Dorchester Collection’s seven talented barmen, some of whom have been at their posts for more than a quarter century, and are some of the most revered names in the industry.
As the new Gilded Age of Cocktails shows no sign of abating, the Dorchester Collection is jumping off the wagon and into the highball with new menus, to be featured at all of its properties. Each of seven Dorchester Collection bar managers contributed a pair of signature concoctions to the collections—one high-octane, the other with no octane at all. The Dorchester Collection has also launched a dedicated YouTube Channel where anyone can go to recreate these creative concoctions and find out more about these iconic barmen and their histories at each legendary bar:

For instance, for the DC Cocktail Collection, Christopher Day, manager of Gilt Bar at The New York Palace, dreamt up the Gilt Classic Smash, a classic mint-based cocktail descended from the Mint Julep and the Sidecar, yet with a modern twist utilizing Woodford Reserve Bourbon. From Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, Enzo Mirto whipped up the Chili and Passionfruit Martini, a spicy variation on the classic with chili flakes and Belvedere vodka infused with lemongrass. And in London, Giuliano Morandin employed The Dorchester’s very own Old Tom Gin and bespoke Bokers bitters to create the Martinez, a great-grandfather of the martini.
