Westfield, New Jersey – Ecostreamjet is launching a private jet air travel brokerage firm “commitment to the environment.” With its official launch slated for August 6, 2008, Ecostreamjet has committed to offset all jet fuel used on its flights.
Its “greener skies ahead” philosophy is second only to its commitment to the highest safety and service standards, including the use of ARG/US Gold and Platinum rated jets, according to the company.
Founded by veteran pilot and pilot-instructor Richard Shiarella, Ecostreamjet is poised to effect change from within the private aviation industry. Instead of placing so-called voluntary carbon calculators onto its website and asking travelers to pay more to offset their trips, Shiarella’s company does that as a matter of course. Ecostreamjet goes even further by serving as a conduit for information and advocacy on environmental issues.
When asked why Ecostreamjet chose the environment as one of its leading causes, Shiarella states: “There is no reason why the private aviation industry should not take it upon itself to be more environmentally responsible. Ecostreamjet will combine a memorable customer experience – safety, convenience and excellent service with environmental stewardship. We created Ecostreamjet as a company of substance -genuine in its commitment both to clients and to the environment. I hope the entire private aviation industry follows Ecostreamjet’s lead.” Ecostreamjet operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. “We use the best business jet operators with the most experienced pilots,” says Kim Canavan, Ecostreamjet’s VP of Operations and Client Relations.
The Ecostreamjet tagline is “Committed to clients, dedicated to the environment.”
