Nobu Hospitality and Eden Roc have announced plans for a new Nobu Hotel within the Eden Roc Miami Beach.
The Nobu Hotel and Restaurant will be a ‘hotel within a hotel’ comparable in tactic to the highly successful Nobu Hotel at CaesarsPalace Las Vegas – named as one of the Hottest New Hotels of 2013 by CNN.
The Nobu Restaurant at the Eden Roc and other dining facilities are in the process of being planned.
David Rockwell of the Rockwell Group has been selected as the designer of the new Nobu Hotel.
“The Eden Roc is an extremely special property from its history, design and the Eden Roc name itself. We will be working carefully with the current ownership and in collaboration with Destination Hotels and Resorts and associates in embracing and reinforcing the Eden Roc name and property,” said Trevor Horwell, Chief Executive of Nobu Hospitality.
“Each of our shareholders Chef Nobu, Robert DeNiro and Meir Teper have very fond personal memories of the property, and we are all passionately driven to see the Eden Roc name and legacy return to its former glory embracing with genuine respect and care, the style and integrity of the original Eden Roc crafted by Morris Lapidus.”
