EL AL, Israel’s national airline, was recently awarded for having the best security by readers of Global Traveler Magazine and rated by the German Aircraft Bureau for having impeccable security and safety practices.
EL AL was voted “Best Airline Security” for the second year in a row by Global Traveler Magazine, a leading luxury and business travel publication distributed throughout North America. Over 31,000 Global Traveler readers, most of whom are frequent travelers, participated in the annual survey and selected their “favorites” in the travel industry. EL AL was chosen as the number one airline for security, while providing a safe and comfortable travel experience to all passengers. In recognition of the prominent award, EL AL West Coast Security Manager Dan Kamara accepted the honor at an official awards reception at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles.
EL AL was also rated one of the top five safest airlines in the world by the German Bureau of Aircraft Investigation. The safety levels of 60 of the world’s largest airlines were examined and the results were published in the well-respected German aviation magazine called Aero International.
