Ashford Castle, set on 350 acres in Ireland’s verdant County Mayo, knows how to celebrate a holiday, especially the most quintessentially Irish fest of all, St. Patrick’s Day. The two-night package is available from March 12 until March 19, 2010 for $1,076 in a Corrib Standard room with lake view. Breakfast is included each morning. Arthur’s Bellinis are served on the house and the Quiet Man movie, a true Irish classic filmed in part at Ashford Castle, runs on television in all the guest rooms and suites.
