Ethiopian Airlines Launches New Service to the Seychelles

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Washington, D.C – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine

Ethiopian Airlines recently announced it will launch new service and vacation packages to Seychelles as of April 1, 2012. The new nonstop flights from Addis Ababa to Seychelles, combined with daily service from Washington Dulles International Airport to Addis Ababa, make this spectacular tropical destination more accessible than ever before for travelers based in the eastern United States.

Seychelles is a magnificent archipelago of 115 islands in the Western Indian Ocean, providing dramatic natural beauty among their 41 mid-oceanic granite islands and 74 low-lying coral atolls and reef islands. The destination has much to offer worldly travelers, from breathtaking landscapes of stunning beaches to lush tropical vegetation; and from luxury hotels and resorts to villas and boutique hotels; as well as incredible conditions for water sports such as deep-sea fishing, sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling. Exquisite cuisine, world-class golfing, and casinos appeal to those looking for an adventurous getaway. Pristine, often deserted, white-sand beaches, luxurious accommodations and spas, and outstanding service also make Seychelles the ideal destination for romance in this venerated paradise.

“Ethiopian Airlines is pleased to fly to Seychelles, offering travelers access to its legendary beauty and amenities,” said Mr. Tewolde Gebremariam, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines. “Seychelles is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Aldabra, the world’s largest raised coral atoll and Praslin’s Vallée de Mai, once believed to be the original site of the Garden of Eden.” Travel to Seychelles is now not only more convenient from the eastern U.S., but also more comfortable, with reasonable upgrades to Ethiopian Airlines’ Cloud Nine business class on flights to Addis Ababa and Seychelles.

As a member of the Star Alliance, and with daily service from Washington Dulles International Airport to Addis Ababa aboard Boeing 777 aircraft, Ethiopian Airlines offers the fastest and most convenient flights to Seychelles from the eastern United States. Ethiopian Airlines is also proud to introduce complete travel packages to Seychelles, which include airfare, multiple-night stays at a variety of properties, and unforgettable activity offerings. With included accommodations ranging from two to five stars, as well as exquisite dining, spa, and excursion options, a trip to paradise is just a call away.
