Exclusive 12 Bar Concept Launched at The Lounge & Bar, The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong

lounge and bar ritz carlton_With a stunning, lavishly-designed interior and Oriental-accented crystal chandelier centerpieces, The Lounge & Bar located on Level 102 of the highest hotel in the world features floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing sensational views of the Hong Kong skyline.

The space exudes opulence yet offers an intimate ambience, making it a perfect venue for business and social gatherings in Hong Kong. With only 12 luxurious leather seats around the ornate carved bar counter in the center, The Lounge & Bar’s newly created “Exclusive 12” bar concept will be the ultimate cocktail and gourmet experience for guests who crave the finest personalized service.

The bar counter is managed by award-winning, world-class mixologist, Lewis Tsang, who has developed a range of delicately concocted cocktails served in the finest Baccarat glassware, from classic drinks and elegant champagnes to martini offerings using only high-end premium spirits and the best ingredients and flavors.

In celebration of Baccarat’s 250th  anniversary, Lewis puts the spotlight on the “Cocktails in Baccarat” collection featuring six types of cocktails, including some of the all-time favorites such as Vesper Martini—named after James Bond’s first love, Vesper Lynd—which is his cocktail of choice; Hanada (meaning flower field) Martini, a must-try, featuring aromatic floral organic gin, parfait amour and elderflower liqueurs, and topped with lots of Earl Grey foam, reminiscent of a garden smelling of fresh flowers.

Another signature in the collection is the whiskey sour-inspired Mr. Song, which is not just pleasing to the eyes but also has a three-layer taste of ginger, black truffle and the original whiskey sour on a hand-crafted rock ice sphere.

For guests looking for a classic champagne cocktail, Lewis curated Snow Finch, creating an image of a flying bird in the sky. Beautifully presented in a Baccarat champagne glass, the cocktail has a refreshing taste of lychee, lemon and elderflower, making it the perfect choice for an aperitif.

Our talented team of chefs will also prepare a selection of premium bar counter snacks for the 12 guests, including Balik Salmon, Quail Egg with French Caviar, Duck Foie Gras Terrine and Iberico Ham.
