Louis Vuitton No frill was left unturned at the Louis Vuitton fall show: flamenco ruffles, bows, crinolines and corsets burst forth with gusto. Skirts were universally short and rendered in unabashedly girly hues of blush and neon pink, glittery metallic brocade and multicolored silk with a spattered effect. Exaggerated hourglass silhouettes were given a punk touch through the addition of fingerless gloves, rock and roll zippers and bits of studding–the perfectly happy, embraceable collection to round out the Paris collection
Revillon Revillon’s fur for fall is a wild kingdom, indeed. Peter Dundas’ approach injects a sense of fun by adding prints to a mix of sporty jackets done in fox primarily. Leopard, camouflage and zebra prints coat the furs inside and out in colors like lavender and olive. Ready-to-wear offerings took a youthful direction, too. Leather shorts, jersey dresses and softly draped jumpsuits are nightclub-ready.
