Latour, a leading tour operator to South and Central America and a division of Isram World, announced today that it will launch special luxury culinary excursions dedicated to the gastronomic and scenic wonders of Chile.
Aboard the Nomads of the Seas cruise ship, the “Tasting Chile” excursions, which set sail October 29-November 1, November 5-8 and December 3-6, will feature the cuisine of Master Chef Guillermo Rodriguez, along with one guest star chef from Chile, one international chef and an on-board sommelier serving the finest Chilean wines. The star chef team will delight guests with vertical tastings, surprise snacks, gourmet lunches “in the field” and, of course, elaborately prepared dinners each night on-board the ship. Customized, private car, pre- and post-cruise excursions are available from Latour as the perfect compliment to the cruise program.
The “Tasting Chile” journey, which begins and ends in Puerto Montt, also gives guests the opportunity to disembark for shore excursions to see local wildlife, explore hot springs and go kayaking.
