After two years and $25 million, the final touches are being made to the Enchantment Resort in Sedona, Arizona.
Nestled at the entrance to the secluded Boynton Canyon, the 70-acre resort offers a unique panoramic view of the iconic red-rock cliff formations distinctive of the region. Already a renowned destination with a string of accolades, the extensive renovations aim to make this resort an oasis of modern luxury within this rugged wilderness.
State-of-the-art technological features such as the innovative virtual check-in process will serve to eliminate check-in queues and provide a seamless arrival. The guest Clubhouse has been expanded with a new lounge area decorated with large fireplaces to allow guests to gather and perhaps enjoy one of the resort’s signature prickly pear cocktails.
All rooms and suites have been upgraded with designs and materials inspired by the local Native American culture, each with its own private viewing deck. A new restaurant, Che-Ah-Chi, will showcase contemporary American cuisine with Southwest influences. The wine cellar is home to over 2,000 bottles and has previously been decorated with the Wine Spectator’s ‘Best of’ Award of Excellence.
The resort spa has been newly refurbished and the swimming pool has doubled in size and raised ten feet to allow guests a 360-degree view of the surrounding canyon. The Meeting Village has been enlarged to accommodate 13,000 square feet of event space as well as another 20,000 square feet of outdoor banquet space to take advantage of the resort’s picturesque setting.
