Four properties in the Red Carnation Hotel Collection have been named in Travel + Leisure’s 2013 500 World’s Best Hotels. The Milestone Hotel, ‘41’ and The Chesterfield Mayfair were named among the Best Hotels in the UK. The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa was honored among the best in Africa and the Middle East.
This is the fifth year that The Milestone Hotel has received this honor, and it has been named a top hotel in T + L World’s Best Awards since 2009. The Milestone Hotel received an overall score of 92.83, placing it in the number one spot for properties in the United Kingdom.
This is the fourth time ‘41’ has been named in the T + L 500, and the hotel was also honored earlier this year in T + L’s annual Reader’s Poll highlighting the ‘World’s Best’ for 2012. The Chesterfield Mayfair has been named as a T + L 500 ‘World’s Best Hotel’ for the second year in a row. Last year was its first time on the T + L 500.
The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town was also honored earlier this year in T + L’s 2012 ‘World’s Best Awards’. The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa earned the number one spot in the category of ‘Top Hotel Spa in Africa and the Middle East’, and the number three spot in ‘Top City Hotels in Africa and the Middle East’. With a score of 93.71, The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa ranked in the top 50 hotels worldwide.
