Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is currently undergoing a series of significant property enhancements which include the already completed Ballroom, Windows Lounge, Cabana Restaurant and pool upper terrace. The pool, guest rooms, suites, and restaurant will be completed each at separate intervals during the year with an anticipated completion of December 2009.
“We are very excited about the enhancements taking place,” explains General Manager Mehdi Eftekari. “The completion of this project will allow us to offer an even more unique product which will complement the renowned every day personalized service from our experienced staff.”
As the international hub for entertainment industry events, Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is a home away from home to an impressive list of decision makers within the industry. The vision at hand was to modernize the preexisting traditional style interiors, while incorporating elements of classic Four Seasons flora and invoking the rich history of Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
The new Ballroom reflects a return to California chic and understated charm. With 4000 square feet of space, the newly opened expansive arched windows are now revealed to give natural light to this elegant well proportioned ballroom. A palette of creamy neutral tones amid the standing traditional architecture complemented with delicate shears, and a contemporary garden inspired carpet design, hone in to sophistication for the perfect wedding or event.
Windows Lounge has long been a gathering place for the Hollywood crowd. The updated Lounge incorporates elements of nature throughout using sumptuous hues of fresh spring greens and rich browns. With an eye on hip and moody chic, new features include a backlit photographic glass bar top that exhibits an image of succulent foliage, a green onyx fire place graces the centre of the Lounge and wooden wine cabinets. Adjacent to the Lounge, the patio has been expanded and includes additional lounge seating for up to 25 persons with two additional wrought iron cabanas hat provide both ambiance and privacy. This beautiful space of outdoor living is also complemented by the newly planted orange trees, bougainvillea and lush greenery.
Upstairs on the 4th floor at the Cabana restaurant and upper pool terrace, a new awning covers the seating with discreet heaters fixed into the awning to warm up these cooler evenings in Southern California, as well as new lighting and outdoor sound system.
The guest rooms which will start their redesign in August this year, nods to the timeless glamour of 1940s Hollywood, with elegantly mirrored wall paneling and white-gold contemporized chinoiserie headboards. The palette is composed of warm tans, fair woods, and an elegant infusion of aqua. The tan carpet features a slightly abstracted aqua pattern of spherical flora, a modern tribute to the Four Seasons long standing tradition of incorporating the softest elements of nature. Additional subtly to the room include vibrant blue bolsters that bounce off the champagne linens and leaf patterned throw at the foot of the bed. A matching throw pillow decorates the upholstered, tan armchair with stitched in aqua details that hint of blooming foliage. Each bathroom has been updated with elegant glass closures for the shower/bath tub area, new flat screen TVs, and new contemporary fixtures and vanity.
