Oceanco has confirmed its presence at the 2009 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, from October 29 to November 2. The shipyard will present four scale models of recently designed superyachts. They all display the characteristics that have established Oceanco’s solid reputation over the past decades.
Innovative design, smart engineering and advanced technology have become trusted features. But above all, each yacht by Oceanco has a unique, highly distinct personality, carefully tuned to the lifestyle of her owner.
The most recent example of Oceanco’s tireless quest for technical accomplishment combined with stylish innovation is the Y708, measuring 85.6 meters and scheduled to be launched in 2012. This yacht is destined to set new standards for all aspects of yachtbuilding. Craftsmanship and engineering to the highest specifications, most sophisticated equipment, compliance with the latest environmental regulations, together with provisions for extreme comfort and luxury aim to offer to the true yachtsman the ultimate yacht. Her many assets include a spacious swimming pool convertible into a helicopter landing area and a completely private owner’s deck.
New concept
Oceanco introduces the 110m PA107 design, a new styling concept based on a newly developed platform, in accordance with SOLAS rules for 36 passengers. Powered by a hybrid propulsion system, ensuring minimum fuel use and maximum power, the yacht can easily reach a speed of 21 knots. One of the most remarkable architectural features is an exterior glass elevator, rising from the boat deck to the helicopter platform. Glass is prominently present in the design of the PA107, where it is not only applied in a functional manner, but also serves as an important aesthetic element.
At the 2009 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Oceanco can be found in booth 629 of the Yacht Builders and Designers Tent in Bahia Mar Center.
