GIADA at The Cromwell Las Vegas Now Serving Breakfast

By Neharika Padala

Having already successfully launched lunch and dinner,  Emmy Award-winning celebrity chef and New York Times best-selling author Giada De Laurentiis is proud to introduce breakfast at her first and only restaurant, GIADA.

Adding her unique spin on breakfast, De Laurentiis is introducing eight breakfast menu items, some fans may recognize, as well as unique fresh pressed juices. Both the breakfast and lunch menus will be available from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

Fans might be familiar with the Salmon Cakes used in the Salmon Cake Benedict, however the pairing with wilted spinach, piquillo peppers and poached eggs with prosecco hollandaise sauce is a unique to her restaurant. Polenta is used in several dishes, including waffles two ways: the Sunrise Polenta Waffle featuring pancetta, chives, two sunny side up eggs and a side of both béchamel and noble maple syrup; and the Strawberry Polenta Waffle, made with fresh strawberries, grilled pineapple and Nutella. Polenta is also used in the Breakfast Contadina, which is two eggs served any style, crispy polenta cakes, wilted spinach, oven roasted tomatoes and toast; and the Polenta en Cocotte, which is made with creamy polenta, spicy sausage, dried cranberries and Calabrian chile with two poached eggs. The menu also features an Italian Hash, made with marble potatoes, Nueske’s bacon, Finocchiona salumi, peppers, tomato and onion confit with a sunny side up egg.

For those looking for something more traditional, try the Breakfast American with two eggs served any style, lemon smashed potatoes with the choice of sweet sausage meatballs or bacon and toast. Or try the Chia Seed Parfait with fresh raspberry, chia seeds, maple sweetened Greek yogurt and toasted Marcona almonds.

Fresh pressed juices are also available, and are not the typical at home blends. Two standouts are the Rise & Shine, which features spinach, carrots, apples, celery, lemon and ginger, and The Palm, made with pineapple, apple, lemon and mint.

Since its debut at The Cromwell in June, GIADA has received rave reviews and continues to be one of the most sought after reservations in Las Vegas. GIADA’s menu embraces De Laurentiis’ Roman heritage, mirroring her passion for Italian cooking with vibrant, Californian influences. GIADA utilizes the freshest ingredients to create a new take on the traditional Italian cuisine, while staying true to classic favorites.  With its warm décor featuring De Laurentiis’ personal style, the restaurant also boasts a priceless view of the Strip from the second story of The Cromwell. With the opening of her first-ever restaurant, De Laurentiis was recently named one of “The Most Innovative Women in Food and Drink” by FORTUNE.

GIADA at The Cromwell is open daily for breakfast and lunch from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and for dinner from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For information or to make a reservation, please call 855-GIADAS1.
