London – Gentlemen’s shoemaker Harrys of London is proud to announce the opening of its first retail concept at 59 South Audley Street. Nestled on the corner of South Audley Street and Mount Street, the new Harrys of London flagship is a welcome addition to London’s chicest microdistrict, already home to high fashion and traditional shops including Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin, Scott’s restaurant, and gunsmiths and country outfitters Purdey.
The 400sq foot space featuring thirteen foot high ceilings is designed in a library motif, where shoes are arranged as ‘books’ and accessible by sliding wooden librarian ladders. The immaculate interior details include grey suede walls, cornicing, and a beautiful reclaimed herringbone oak floor. Custom-made sofas from London’s George Smith are tailored in signature Harrys of London leathers and textiles. The shop staff will be dressed by venerable Savile Row tailor Hardy Amies.
