The historic Hotel d’Angleterre in Copenhagen has unveiled the last phase of renovations to its Amazing Space spa.
At the tail end of the recent three-year renovation of the historic 90-room hotel, the Scandinavia-inspired Amazing Space spa features a new hammam, the only in-city indoor pool in Copenhagen (approximately 33 feet by 50 feet), a state-of-the-art TechnoGym fitness room, five private treatment rooms and sauna.
Designed by Space Copenhagen – the design firm behind NOMA and the new Balthazar Champagne bar at the d’Angleterre – the Amazing Space spa follows the signature minimalist aesthetic of Scandinavian design, while also providing a welcoming and warm space for locals and guests to indulge in the spa’s cutting-edge organic Nordic treatments.
Amazing Space spa follows a strict organic and fair-trade concept. All treatments – from facials to whole-body wraps and makeovers – are crafted using locally sourced and Danish-made products.
Formulated without the use of parabens, synthetic colors, synthetic fragrances and petrolatum, Amazing Space’s skincare range is combined with natural elements like Icelandic lava stones (for massages), arnica and rosehip oil, and marine algae to provide unique treatments and experiences.
