New York, NY – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
In another dent against the global spread of HIV/AIDS, Hublot unveiled its Big Bang Black Magic amfAR timepiece, a limited edition 100-piece design that celebrates The Foundation for AIDS Research’s 25th anniversary and supports their mission. The watch debuted at the opening party of Hublot’s first New York City boutique. The star-studded event included Hublot ambassador and model Veronica Varekova, socialite Lady Lynn de Rothschild, journalist Paula Zahn and designer extraordinaire and amfAR Chairman Kenneth Cole.
The watch has been customized to reflect the spirit of amfAR. The blue-and-yellow numbers and hands reflect the organization’s logo. A self-winding chronograph movement is hidden behind a sleek black 44 mm ceramic case and bezel, all tied together with a lustrous rubber alligator strap.
“We feel honored to be joining amfAR’s efforts in the fight against HIV/AIDS,” said Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver. “The vision truly resonates with our top principle of ‘sharing’ and we hope that through our partnerships we are able to bring greater light to this important issue.”
