The Hublot Polo Cup in Ascona, Switzerland took place on the shores of beautiful Lake Maggiore this weekend.
The magnificent tournament graced the shores of the Swiss resort renowned for its Lido lakefront, walks, beautiful villas and luxury hotels.
After the parade of horses and players in town and on the Lido, 450 VIPs including Swiss, Italian and some of the largest German fortunes were invited to attend a Beach Party Friday night. The magical setting with spectacular light and sound was lakeside where guests donned casual dress and bare feet in the sand and danced late into the night after a great Argentinian barbecue.
Saturday evening, the main event began at 8pm where under large tents decorated for an Indian themed evening, the matches and party began. Guests were treated to the magic of India with bright colors and fire jugglers between matches and the atmosphere was again a festive party.
Finally, on Sunday afternoon, the games began with eagles spectacular show. The games held the audience spellbound until the very end with the victory of Team Styger & Partner Wealth Management. The winners were each given one Chukker Bang watch; a Big Bang model specially developed by Hublot for Polo.
