The perfect combination of tradition and modernity, La Mamounia has unveiled an exceptional guest package filled with glamour, emotion and discovery with its three-night ‘One Million Dirham Ultimate Experience’ package, available for the very first time, exclusively for guests at La Mamounia. The property, synonymous with mystique and opulence has long been heralded as the choice for the discerning traveler, and has hosted the “who’s who” of international royalty, politicians, celebrities and jet set over the years.
Arriving into Marrakech in the comfort of their own private jet from any European city within a three hour flight time of Marrakech, guests will be met at the airport by Daimler Jaguar which will whisk them to their own private Riad, nestled in the heart of the historic gardens at La Mamounia with 24-hour private butler service and exceptional levels of accommodation. To commence the Ultimate Experience, an early evening, private wine tasting with La Mamounia’s Chief Sommelier will take place, followed by a bespoke gastronomic menu accompanied by carefully selected fine wines, created by the Chef at Le Français at La Mamounia. Each morning, guests will wake up to a champagne breakfast to be enjoyed in the privacy of their terrace in their Riad.
On the second day of the Ultimate Experience, guests will be collected by a helicopter, allowing them to discover firsthand the beauty of the Moroccan landscape and the legendary Atlas Mountains. At an undisclosed location, somewhere in the heart of the desert and a carefully guarded La Mamounia secret, will be a full service luxury “bivouac” shelter exclusively for the guests’ to experience an evening under the star worthy of the legends of 1001 nights. Upon return to La Mamounia, guests will be indulged in the private area at The Spa at La Mamounia, with deluxe treatments including massage and Hammam beauty treatments from a range of over 80 different service options. Afterwards, its time to raise the roof La Mamounia style, embarking on a journey led by La Mamounia’s Chief Mixologist taking guests on a flavor discovery tour serving champagne with edelweiss cocktails, saffron infused vodka, as well as creating personalized cocktails for each guest. As one final surprise, on the last morning, guests will be driven to a unique location in the city of Marrakech where well known local artists will provide a private presentation of their latest collections.
Guests partaking in the ‘One Million Dirham Ultimate Experience’ have the choice of two bookable travel periods, either from February 15th – May 31st, or September 15th – December 22nd, 2011. The ‘One Million Dirham Ultimate Experience’ is subject to availability, based on two-four people per booking and requires at least two weeks advance notice. The private jet arrival experience is available from European cities within a three-hour flight time of Marrakech, with alternative departure points available at a supplemental cost, quoted upon request by La Mamounia. At the time of writing, one million dirham is approximately USD $122,629.
