The Spa & Salon at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, underwent an extensive refurbishment last December. The facelift includes an all-encompassing menu designed to be the ultimate experience in pampering.
Beginning with the basics, there is the addition of a salon with full range of services. Spa treatments are performed in eight treatment cabanas, four of which are brand new, including two couples’ cabanas that feature an outdoor jetted tub à deux. All boast an outdoor shower and private terrace and garden, allowing guests to enjoy treatments indoors and outdoors. Three self-contained Spa Suites, unique to Las Ventanas, offer a “total spa lifestyle.” The ultra-luxe accommodations have a personal treatment room, spacious living areas and terraces, walk-in Rainforest Shower hydro experience, infrared sauna, infinity-edge Jacuzzi, iSqueeze Reflexology Boots, an organic mini bar and a dedicated butler to cater to guests’ every need.
The Four Elements, a holistic menu inspired by the ancient healers of Baja, invokes earth, air, fire and water in its techniques, treatments and products. The menu goes hand-in-hand with healing rituals like the Holistic Twilight Ceremony, a purifying ceremony adopted from hoary shamans that utilizes sage smoke, crystal bowls and a large eagle feather to replace negative energy with positivity and balance.
Après treatment, guests can indulge in the resort’s “Sleeping with the Stars at Las Venatanas,” a spectacular experience available from the resort’s Romance Menu. Couples sleep on a king-size bed set atop private terraces, some replete with a fireplace and Jacuzzi, of the rooftop terrace or penthouse suites. The vantage point affords views of the glimmering stars above and the Sea of Cortez shimmering in the moonlight.
