Las Ventanas’ Spa Intros Incense & Music Menus

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Los Cabos, Mexico – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine

The Spa at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort has added deep sensory dimensions to its holistic treatments with the introduction of an Incense Menu and a Music Menu.

The Spa at Las Ventanas is celebrated for its menu of treatments and services that tap the powers of the Four Elements and engage the senses. Now, the spa experience has been amplified for the guests with olfactory and auditory components.

The guest may choose from five categories of music including Gregorian Chants, Sounds of Mother Earth, Celtic Music, House Music and Ancestral Music. For each category, the Music Menu provides recommendations of which treatments pair best with that particular music. The harmonious voices of the Gregorian Chants, for example, which evoke a state of meditation and relaxation, are ideal for massages. The Ancestral Music, which awakens emotions that unite us with our ancestors and create tranquility, complements treatments based on ancient practices such as Spiritual Chilam Ritual and Raindrop Therapy.

The Incense Menu reinforces and enhances Las Ventanas’ Spa Menu by also being based on the Four Elements of earth, air, fire and water. Each treatment at Las Ventanas taps the powers of one of the Four Elements, and now the guest may choose one of the corresponding elemental incenses. The Earth Element Incense choices are sandalwood and copal scents; the Air Element Incense options are eucalyptus and lavender; the Fire Element Incense scents are cinnamon and patchouli; and Water Element Incense choices are jasmine and vanilla.

Las Ventanas’ holistic menu was inspired by the ancient healers of Baja who were masters at tapping the powers of the Four Elements in their quest to balance emotion, spirit and physical well-being. Because each of the Four Elements has specific powers and areas that it positively influences, each treatment is linked to a specific element. The menu invokes earth, air, fire and water not only in its treatments but also its techniques and products – and now the Music Menu and Incense Menu add an additional dimension to the elemental experience.

The Spa at Las Ventanas has enjoyed international recognition for its innovative menu as well as for its beautiful and peaceful flower-filled garden ambiance and highly skilled staff of therapists and technicians. The four free-standing cabins are the perfect treatment rooms for a Four Elements spa menu. Equipped with everything from oversized jetted tubs to music systems, they are extraordinarily soothing and private treatment venues that open onto individual private gardens. The spa also has four indoor treatment rooms, as well as separate men’s and women’s facilities each offering a dressing area, steam room, sauna, and hydro-therapy and cold plunge pools. Unique to The Spa at Las Ventanas are the three Spa Suites offering a “total spa lifestyle.” Guests are immersed in a continuous spa journey within the privacy of a self-contained, ultra-luxurious Spa Suite that features its own state-of-the-art treatment room, spacious living areas and terraces, dedicated butler to see to every need and want, and a uniquely created spa ambiance that includes a walk-in Rainforest Shower hydro experience, infrared sauna, infinity-edge Jacuzzi, iSqueeze Reflexology Boots and organic mini-bar. A personalized agenda of treatments, services and activities, to fulfill the guests’ individual goals and desires, is created and implemented for Spa Suite guests.

Las Ventanas has been among the world’s most heralded resorts since it opened in 1997. It brought, for the first time, the highest international standards of luxury and service to Los Cabos and played a lead role in elevating it to Mexico’s most upscale destination. Las Ventanas features 71 exceptionally spacious suites with exquisite furnishings, unique appointments hand-crafted by Mexican artisans, magnificent views and individual telescopes for stargazing; three different dining choices including The Restaurant, the Sea Grill and the Tequila, Ceviche & Sushi Bar; and the most extensive array of ultra-luxury amenities of any resort, from poolside butlers to a Department of Romance dedicated to making guests’ romantic dreams come true.
