Lladró launches beautiful pieces this fall, providing new possibilities for holiday gifts and for décor. In addition to the classic figurines with a holiday theme, like the new limited edition Great Christmas Tree, the annual balls and bells or the Drummer Boy for the nativity scene, we are introducing a new lithophane featuring the engraving of a snowflake. When the candle is lit, the votive light shines through the porcelain, revealing the detailed design and creating a festive ambience. It is also worth highlighting other pieces that add a functional element to their decorative potential. Creations like the obelisk-shaped jewelry cases or the new additions in the Wall Art collection, including the octagonal mirrors and the new pieces, Fairy Wish and Natural Orchids.
A wide selection of new pieces is inspired by exotic cultures and acknowledge the multicultural origin of our customers. Thanks to the complex painting techniques developed by Lladró and the ongoing research of its creative team, it was possible to reproduce the Oriental red in the kimono of the Japanese character in Enigmatic Beauty, the dark tones of the African women in Ceremonial Coiffure, the tattoos of Siamese Elephant or the colorful palette of Jaipur Festival.
A diversity of styles and finishes for all kinds of interiors Aesthetically, this introduction stands out for its diversity of styles. From the classic lady of Beautiful Gloria to the modern young woman of Sunset at the Pier, not forgetting the original and geometric treatment of the dancers Giselle Arabesque and Giselle Reverence, there are pieces suitable for all kinds of interior styles. Sculptures that will give new life to any space and create cozy corners where we can relax with family and friends.
This introduction also includes new creations from the Re-Deco collection. Six of the brand’s classic pieces are now created with black and grey porcelain and painted with platinum luster. Artistically speaking, the variety of finishes proves, once again, Lladró’s boundless creative potential. The use of black gres, the combination of matte and glazed finishes, or the application of enamels on the porcelain, are some examples of what these new issues have to offer in terms of interior design.
Lladró & Steiff Lladró also launches two new bears, a result of our collaboration with the German soft toys brand Steiff. Winter Teddy Bear, in a limited edition of 2,000 units, is the latest addition to the Four Seasons Collection. Both the fur and the tiara of this bear, made with delicate Lladró porcelain flowers, are inspired by that season. 2009 Lladró Ornament Teddy Bear, a limited edition of 3,000 units, displays a porcelain snowflake matching the motif of this year’s Christmas balls, bells and lithophanes.
