London, UK – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
Spring is in the air, and in its honor, one of London’s best outdoor dining venues, The Courtyard at 51 Buckingham Gate, reopens just in time for the much-anticipated royal wedding. Toast the newlyweds at this delightful spot adjoining 51 Buckingham Gate, the private enclave of 86 luxurious residential-style suites from Taj Hotels.
To celebrate the property’s 10th anniversary this season, The Courtyard is featuring special festive menus and musical events throughout the summer. The Courtyard has also teamed up with Tanqueray No. 10 Gin to create an exclusive anniversary drink, The 51 Cocktail.
Tucked away in a private landscaped space with a beautiful fountain just steps from Buckingham Palace, The Courtyard at 51 offers dishes inspired by the best in cuisine and wine from the Middle East and North Africa, such as Lokoz Meshwi (fillet of sea bass with almond chermoula) and Djaj Shaw (chicken marinated in onions, garlic and saffron).
At The Courtyard, you’ll also enjoy a musical menu for all tastes throughout the summer. Viva Live Music will bring Opera to the Courtyard over two weekends in July. Guests will enjoy opera classics such as La Traviata’s Brindisi, Don Giovanni’s La ci darem and Lakme’s Flower duet. The Courtyard will also open its gates to the best of the West End, with classic musical hits from productions such as Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, provided by Cantible’s London Quartet; and contemporary favorites including Mamma Mia, Wicked and Grease delivered by Soprano Bella Entertainment.
