Romanian Scenes (scènes roumaines) is the latest in a series of exhibitions at Louis Vuitton’s contemporary art hall near the Champs-Élysées in Paris. It is a showcase of Romanian art emerging from the years of political oppression in the 20th century.
Louis Vuitton is exhibiting Romanian art at its Espace Culturel center in Paris.
The Romanian Scenes exhibition brings together a selection of works by artists who have marked the art scene over the past forty years. These include a new generation of artists such as Ciprian Muresan who adapts works of literature to explore Romania’s recent history.
